Check out the new New Zealand based online store The Front Shed serving up affordable quality homeware
The Front Shed is the new Kiwi online homeware store you need to know about
Born and raised in Hawke’s Bay, Charlie Todd, 24, has been conceptualising his recently launched online store The Front Shed for the last year. He has been taking his time to curate a succinct but exciting mix of homeware that he is passionate about making available to the New Zealand market.
The website offers a wide variety of carefully selected products from trusted suppliers to ensure you receive the highest quality possible. The store is an eclectic mix of simple, clean-lined, minimalistic and high-quality goods. You’ll find plenty of homeware made from rustic wood, concrete, leather, and brass. In addition, Todd is offering some very-reasonably priced sunglasses and phone cases which will set you back as little as $19.99.
Alongside this, there are some novelty items for the more adventurous homeware collector. Think, stainless steel chopsticks and hipflasks, Llama in a taxi prints, or moon LED lamps – if you’re looking for a present that’s a little different you’ll want to familiarise yourself with this site.
The store is operating under a ‘dropshipping’ model, which means that once you’ve ordered an item The Front Shed will deal with the supplier directly, who then sends it from their warehouse. This can take up to 1-4 weeks, but allows them to offer the homeware at such reasonable prices – so is well worth the wait.
