7 fresh homeware finds that we’re lusting after

The Your Home and Garden team have shared what’s new in the homeware scene that they’re loving – and we immediately added them to our lust list

1. Beach umbrellas

These vintage-inspired beach umbrellas by Byron Bay-based designers Sunday Supply Co are the perfect accessory for long days at the seaside this summer. Made in sturdy materials that are designed to age naturally, this new range is also finished with cute cotton tassels that dial up the nostalgia factor. Varnished beechwood and custom-designed aluminium alloy hinges and hardware make these the perfect marriage of style and practicality. Each umbrella is $299 from paperplanestore.com.

2. Cushion update

Add some old-school charm to your bach with Citta’s latest range of cushion covers. Featuring olive green, mustard, peach and pink in a variety of shapes, patterns and materials, they’re sure to bring some nostalgia into any setting – plus they’re super stylish.

3. Green Home Book

This dreamy coffee table book by stylist Susanna Vento and photographer Riikka Kantinkoski is just what you need if you love houseplants or want to start using them in your home. Green Home Book is full of plant species you’ll love, as well as easy and concise care instructions for more than 50 types.

Along with gorgeous greenery, these pages are also full of beautiful homes. Leaf through and be inspired by the houses, inventive interiors and enviable atmosphere. Green Home Book is AU$77 from simpleform.com.au.

4. Pastel serveware

The Sorbet Collection by Le Creuset is a new range of sweet, pastel-coloured cooking and serveware inspired by nostalgia for the childhood pleasures of endless summer holidays, ice creams and days at the beach.

We love the sorbet colours and cute shapes of this collection, which includes egg cups, mini casserole dishes, dessert bowls and even pudding spoons. Check out the full range at lecreuset.com.au.

5. Botanical bed linen

Australian home linen company Sanctuary Studio works closely with local and international artists to produce luxe statement pieces including cushions, candles, beach towels, weekender totes and more.

Bright botanical prints sit alongside subtle neutrals and fun neon designs. Check out the latest collection at sanctuarystudio.com.au.

6. Chic shelves

The Essentials range from Mocka is a selection of modern, functional furniture basics for an affordable price. New to the range are these large and small bookcases, which are ideal for a living room, kid’s bedroom or home office.

With open shelving and enclosed sections with sliding panels, you will find ample room to store and display all your favourite reads, as well as a few beloved extras such as vases, mementos and house plants. The bookcases are also perfect for smaller rooms as they utilise vertical space and won’t take up a lot of precious floor real-estate. These flatpack shelves start at $129.95 from mocka.co.nz.
