Article by Homes to Love

This stylish new apartment block redefines inner-city living. Take a look through the recently completed space inside The International

Located at 9 Princes Street, The International holds a prestigious and sought-after position in Auckland’s sun-drenched art and university district, bordering the grounds of Old Government House and Albert Park.

The first apartment of the luxury complex has been completed, designed by internationally renowned interior architect Rufus Knight, who is known for his work with Fearon Hay, Van Duysen Architects (Belgian) and Aesop.

Knight has brought his signature cool and calm style to The International, utilising the highest quality materials and fittings including solid Italian travertine benchtops, single-piece travertine splashbacks in the kitchens and appliances from Miele in Germany. European pendant lighting over the kitchen surfaces will accentuate the space, creating a sleek, stylish yet effortlessly functional space.

Each apartment features solid timber entry doors with keyless electronic entry, ultra-high speed wireless data connection and a video intercom. Full height windows feature throughout along with a large conservatory offering stunning views across Auckland.

In addition to the 90 apartments over 17 levels, The International also features seamlessly integrated shared spaces and luxurious amenities including a private wine cellar and tasting room, private dining room, lobby bar, cafe/restaurant, outdoor terrace, heated pool and spa, gym, private cinema, concierge service, and a library.

The first apartment of the luxury complex has been completed and is open to view Sundays 3-5pm and Wednesdays 6-7pm.
