Located in Kangaroo Valley, Outhouse bathroom services a small, nearby cabin for overnight stays. The build offers an empathetic approach to the surrounding land and applies sustainable technologies such as natural ventilation, solar-powered lighting and greywater recycling/septic tanks.
There is minimal contact with the natural ground and the site can be dismantled with the area returned to its natural state at any time.
The sleek exterior is sheathed in one-way mirrored surfaces which create a simple but effective camouflage against the lush setting.
Inside, glass walls offer calming tree views and allow for an abundance of light to flood through the space, which can be enjoyed from the luxurious freestanding tub or shower.
Outhouse offers a unique experience and the ultimate haven to unwind, relax and embrace being at one with nature.
