HOME presents: Style Safari 2017
We’re delighted to announce that Style Safari, HOME’s signature event, is returning for 2017. On Friday 19th May, led by HOME editor Simon Farrell-Green, you’ll tour through Auckland’s best design showrooms to hear from five of the most experienced heads in the design business.
Get the lowdown on what exciting developments are happening this year, and catch up on the latest from the Milan Furniture Fair. Tickets for this day-long event also include a restaurant lunch, and a well-deserved glass of wine at the end of the day. Among the highlights include:
The irrepressible Mike Thorburn of ECC has a unique and proven eye for design: he’ll regale you with tales from Milan and share his favourite picks from the fair.
The ‘KXN’ modular kitchen by IMO goes from strength to strength: owner-designer Sam Haughton will field questions on how it works, as well as explain the durability of steel.
Greg McLeod / Artisan Flooring
Artisan Flooring’s sales director Greg McLeod will brief you on their artisan rugs and what’s happening in the world of flooring design.
Michelle Backhouse / Backhouse Interiors
Along with their latest finds from Milan, Michelle Backhouse of Backhouse Interiors will reveal the ‘JWB’ chair, a new design inspired by the company’s founder and mid-century heritage.

The day starts at 9am, finishes around 5pm and tickets include transport for the day and a restaurant lunch. Tickets are limited to 50, so be sure to buy your tickets early to avoid missing out.
