For over 100 years the Chambers & Station buildings have stood as proud landmarks in the leafy Auckland suburb of Mt Eden. Throughout their history each building has only been used as a commercial space – the Chambers was once the Mt Eden Municipal Council Chambers and the Station was built for the fire service. The Chambers building was designed by architects Wade & Wade in 1912, with A. Sinclair O’Connor designing the Fire Station in 1925.
