As a leader in design, King Living is constantly looking for innovative ways to integrate technology and style. Showroom Manager Hannah Evans-Scott says people are more conscious of how their furniture is made and what it’s made of. “I think people are definitely looking to invest in something that is going to last,” she explains.

Established in 1977 in Sydney, King Living was founded on an aesthetic of contemporary, understated luxury. The family-owned business has more than 40 years’ experience designing, manufacturing, and retailing high-quality furniture.

Hannah says they’ve built their reputation on their galvanised steel frames, which have a 25-year warranty. Their sustainable approach to design also led them to receive their first ‘green’ award in 1999 (FMIAA and NSW Environment Protection Authority Award). “We design furniture that we want to see and be in our customers’ homes for a really long time,” she adds.

HOME Edit gives you up-close-and-personal access to five leading retailers across one afternoon of design and innovation.

Tickets cost just $50 and include transport, lunch, refreshments along the way, and a real treat at the end of the day over a drink in the sun.
