Four ways with: Terracotta pots

1. Turn terracotta pot saucers into coasters for use both inside and out. Paint in one colour or create a design using paint testpots.

2. Paint a pot and saucer. Make sure the saucer is bigger than the size needed for the pot. Turn pot upside down and glue the painted saucer on top. Saucers can be used as side plates.

3. Pots are not just for plants. Get the largest terracotta pot and matching saucer you can find and cover with two coats of paint. Add a design or pattern. Pop the lid on top of the pot and you can have an outdoor table. The table can act as a storage pot, too.

4. Take small pots and saucers and paint them with two coats, then hot glue gun the saucers to the pots. Saucers alone make great candle holders. Candlesticks grouped at different heights can be displayed together on a plate or placed straight on the table.
